These advanced seminars are designed for the Professional in the Landscape Industry and combines the newest technology with ecologically sound landscaping principles and practices.



INTEGRATED PEST MANAGEMENT II: AN ADVANCED PERSPECTIVE

The half-day seminar that goes beyond the basics to discuss landscape pest
identification (including new species coming to CA,) key strategies to prevent
pests, and management options from cultural controls to pesticides.

This seminar focuses on Holistic Pest Management, which acknowledges that plants and their pests function in a shared ecological system. You will learn how to keep the ecosystem in balance so pests do not become a problem; and how to address intolerable pest problems with effective, environmentally friendly management strategies.    (Flyer)
